In recent days, the Assad regime issued 1,500 new death in detention (execution or torture) notifications for the town of al-Tal (700 victims) and surrounding villages (800). Pre-war population of al-Tal was about 50,000 people.
Thread on the possible upcoming death notifications of at least 30.000 people who got executed or died by starvation, lack of medicine etc. in the prisons of the regime. The estimation does not include the detainees in the prisons of the Security Branches.
1000 out of 3500 detainees from Darayya city have been marked dead in the civil records. The regime is no longer worried about the social and political consequences of such information.
