Shoutout to super Metroid final boss over here
So you’re saying the Metroid and the Alien franchises have a lot in common?
Nintendo actually planned to make Aliens game on NES but couldn't get copyrights so thus that's how Metroid came to be. Ripley in Metroid is actually a nod to the protagonist in Aliens and Samus share some similarities with Ripley in Aliens.
Not to mention Ridley is named after the director of the Alien films, Ridley Scott.
Lol win win bro
Looks like it just needs some sanding and paint!
The thing about 3D printing is you can’t have a lot of stuff hanging off (for example, the beak had nothing to support it so the printer was just printing it in thin air, which made it fall off). Also, it looks kinda like the wrecked statue in Metroid 2
If you plan on painting it, just weather it to an extreme degree. It will work with what you have and blend nicely to look like ruins.
Kinda looks like the droid guys from Star Wars
It looks different from the model we used for ours, but we found that printing the statue in two pieces instead of altogether prevented printing errors.
I think it looks pretty dope, yo. A little sanding and some paint and it'll be great!
