Christ I read the title as KAC at first and almost had a heart attack
Same! Been too focused on the clone market lately. Had to do a double check.
There is no such thing as "too focused on the clone market".
For a long time I didn't realize it was two different companies and was so confused why some stuff off their stuff was so cheap and some was insanely expensive lol
What's the cheapest price anybody remembers on plain old stripped uppers? I remember PA had some at $29.99 at least once.
What's the word on these?
lol I guess I'll wait for an aero sale
How does this differ from aero?
Shouldn’t they be dimensional exactly the same.
It's about the quality of the product. Kak is known for being cheep and as a result their qq can suffer being from a blemish or a pin hole being too small. Personally the price isn't bad if you want a plinker but if you want something that has snug fit I'd wait for aero.
Honestly, I've used everything from BCM to BCA and I can't say that I've seen much to differentiate regular old forged mil-spec uppers from one another apart from things like the t-marks, which aren't important to me. Finish will be a bit smoother on some as compared to others but nothing dramatic.
I bought one at this price last time they ran this deal and the dust cover didn't latch tight. I warrantied it, and was sent a new one. Same problem. It functions fine, but that slop on the dust cover wards me off from buying any more.
I've bought and returned a few KAK parts because they were disappointing and or didn't fit right. Low quality, cheap finish, poor QC. I'll never buy from them again.
