[Parts] UnbrandedAR AR15 Lower Parts Kit complete - $30
Bought one when I saw the sale a few weeks ago. Fast shipping, great price, neat gun. Model is being discontinued.
Some info I learned about the model codes:
Otherwise the guns are the same!
My favorite pistol I own hands down. Mine even came with a little extra freedom in the form of the stars and stripes laser engraved on top of the slide. Just waiting on my Apex trigger for it now.
Out of curiosity, why change the trigger?
I'm also waiting an an apex trigger... and why not?
Also I use it for 3-gun, so a lighter trigger is nice.
I have heard of apex triggers before but i don't know anything about them, that's why i ask. My normal handgun thinking is for EDC, home defense, range toy, etc. I haven't gotten into competition stuff yet.
If you're not used to long pull triggers, it is a little odd to use at first. But it's a higher skill curve trigger to get used to.
I have a DAO in my collection and some DA/SA stuff and regular SA too and never had an issue. My crossbow had an ungodly long pull and maybe that helped a bit.
Even though the trigger isn't bad, I just thought it was a little gritty plus I really don't like their trigger safety (M&P 2.0 style) I prefer the blade style like a Glock pistol or a Savage rifle has.
Sad to see they are discontinuing these. I love mine. But I must say the new 509 Tac is awesome. If the make a long slide of that I'll be very happy
This is extremely tempting if you have an FNS-9 or FNS-9C, because it comes with three magazines and those magazines are around $40 each.
This or the P-09/P-07s that have been getting posted?
Do you want something hammer or striker fired?
Im ok with either. Mainly looking for an accurate range gun that I can accessorize/upgrade as I go
If you're looking the accessorize, get the CZ. CZC and CGW are the main CZ hot rodders, but Primary Machine also works on them. Apart from Apex's triggers, there isn't much aftermarket for FN's hammer or striker fire pistols.
P-09 owner here. I run mine stock and it's very accurate in SA. It feels like cheating compared to my striker-fired guns.
