Peaceful settlement of the conflict and rendering of comprehensive assistance are the main vectors of work in the Syrian Arab Republic.
Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation held two humanitarian actions in the settlements of Marran, Aleppo province, and al-Sawara, Daraa province.
Civilians received 750 sets of food products with the total weight 3.19 tons, 450 sets of school uniform and 450 backpacks with stationery. People in need received one tone of fresh-baked bread in Marran town.
Besides, 190 citizens including 92 children were provided with medical care during the humanitarian actions.
In districts of Aleppo (Shayban-Pasha, Sheykh-Fars, al-Qasidiyah, al-Sahur and Sheykh Hoder), families of fallen Syrian servicemen received targeted aid. People received 15 food sets 5kg each.
In total, since the Russian Centre for Reconciliation started settlement process, it carried out 1,923 humanitarian actions. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 2,969.19
Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to 241 people, including 119 children over the past day.
Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
Over the past day there have been shelling attacks against Ikko, Kinsabba, Bsharfa, Latakia province, Hara (3), Tariq-Nasra, Baragiti, Maqanis-al-Duwayri, al-Wasita districts, southwest outskirts of Aleppo city, Tall-Salhab (10), Al-Suqaylabiyah (2), Mahardeh, Zor-Mahruha, Abu-Dali, Hama province.
Besides, there were shelling attacks against Tadef, Aleppo province, from Turkish-baked formations seizing positions near the town of al-Bab.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
On September 8, 2019 two F-15 USAF airplanes delivered strikes on Hajin using white phosphorus incendiary munitions. The strikes resulted in severe fires. Casualty toll is being verified.
The Protocol to the 1949 Geneva Conventions prohibits the use of weapons containing white phosphorous.
