Peaceful settlement of the conflict and rendering of comprehensive assistance are the main vectors of work in the Syrian Arab Republic.
Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation held two humanitarian actions in the settlements of Umm-al-Daam, Homs province, Mleha-al-Garbiye and al-Sawara, Daraa province.
Civilians received 750 sets of food products with the total weight 3.19 tons. Besides, 119 people including 63 children received medical aid.
People in need in Sheikh-Said, Aleppo province, received one tone of fresh-baked bread.
In districts of Aleppo city (al-Suryan, al-Mualimin, al-Jebel, Balalat, al-Kalasa) people received targeted charitable assistance. Fifteen families, who were in a difficult social situation, were provided with food sets 5kg each.
Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation delivered school uniform and backpacks for 450 pupils in Mleha-al-Gabiye and al-Savara, Daraa province.
In total, since the Russian Centre for Reconciliation started settlement process, it carried out 1,921 humanitarian action. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 2,966 tons.
Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to 188 people, including 104 children over the past day.
Former insurgents in southwest of the Syrian Arab Republic surrendered one mortar, one self-propelled weapon and a tank projectile.
Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
Over the past day insurgents have attackes Safsafa, Jub-al-Mgara (2), Ein-al-Qantara, Jubb al-Zaur (2), Sanjeqah, Nahshabba, Salma, Kinsabba, Qalaat Marza (2), Shillia, Latakia province, and Hara, Maqanis-al-Duwayri (3), Sheikh al-Kobtani (2), Binyamin districts, and research centre in Aleppo city. Besides, there were shelling attacks against Tadef, Aleppo province, from Turkish-baked formations seizing positions near the town of al-Bab.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
