Peaceful settlement of the conflict and providing comprehensive assistance to the people is underway in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Over the past day, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation has held a humanitarian action in Mazlum, Deir ez-Zor province.  People received 650 food sets with a total weight of 2.8 tons.

In total, since the beginning of the humanitarian operation, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria has held 1,908 humanitarian actions providing people with 2,942.91 tons of humanitarian relief.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria jointly with Russian Centre for Reception, Allocation and Accommodation of Refugees monitor  evacuation of civilians from the Idlib de-escalation zone via Abu-Duhur humanitarian corridor.

Over the past day, 642 refugees including 321 children, and seven vehicles left the zone; 221 people (109 children) were provided with medical aid.

In total, in past day, Russian military medics have rendered medical assistance to 242 Syrians, including 123 children.

Former militants in southwestern Syria have surrendered over the past day 231 pieces of small arms and 11 tons of artillery and small arms ammo.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established in the country,  there are still hostilities conducted by illegal armed formations  operating in the Idlib de-escalation. Over the past day the have attacked Barisha, Ikko, Kermel, Safsara, Qellaz, Latakia province, Halidiyah, Valyal, Maraanaz, Maqanis-al-Duwayri (three times), Zahr-al-Jayah districts of northwest outskirts of Aleppo, Abu-Dali,  Hama province.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
