Congrats! My wife and I celebrated 15 years last month. The first 5 years are interesting, because you have all of the "getting used to each other" fights. They're the noisiest of the bunch, and it's a crazy 5 years. After that you start to get comfortable with one another and things settle down a bit. Then the fights get far and few between, but become deeply existential as your most intimate of flaws grind against one another.
After 10 years I joked to my mom (married to dad for 40 years next month) that the first 10 years were the hardest. She laughed briefly, and then told me to wait until 30 year together. You've had EVERY fight at least a dozen times. You've come to accept that there are a few fundamental differences between you and your spouse that will never be settled, and you start to seriously question whether or not you can live with that. You know you'll never change them, and you just don't know if it's going to work....
That's been a good 10 years ago though, and mom & dad are still together and very happy together. That's marriage for you. I kind want to kill you, but I worry that I'd miss you too much.
I love getting to see the progression of your relationship!! You guys are growing sillier with each other, just as it should be.
Broh. Divorce the easy way out. Struggle and suffer with the end result not being your individual happiness like the rest of us. 😂😂
Happily marries btw.
Great pictures!!! Congratulations
TIL that photo boothes are still a thing. Cool.
You guys must’ve had a lot of sex in the during the time period of the second strip
Congrats! Can't wait for the 10th Anniversary post!
You guys look like a really nice couple.
Only a matter of time.
Left to right looks like a transformation from Buddy Holly, to Buddy Holly realizing he's gay, to Andy from The Office, to unexpected blackface.
