army enter Jasim city after reconciliation
I have a hard time beleiving this, is it actually confirmed with any video or photo evidence? I realize the SF has been getting absolutely curbstomped but I thought for sure they would at least fight for a few days in Daraa city itself. If this is true im just completely shocked by the totality of the SF’s defeat and collapse.
There was footage of the Syrian flag lifted in Southern Daraa and almost all sources, even rebel ones, reported about this (and international media too). It's pretty much confirmed.
I think people have had enough of fighting and it's quite obviously a lost cause as they are out-gunned and out-manned.
Any remote hope was surely lost with Jordan and the US abandoning them.
The thought that makes me sad is the opportunity lost at the negotiating table by sticking to the "Assad must go" demand instead of bargaining for political and legal reform while they had some bargaining power.
very happy to hear this!!
The southern front did not much, after the SAA arrive with there fire power. We have only seen small clashed here and there, but not comparable to the fights in east Ghouta or other battle fields.
More over, it looks the southern front give up every front without a real fight, and run away if they can. They hand over there weapons to ISIS, instead of using them against the SAA. All bigger cities, the highway, the crossings to Jordan, everything important now in the hand of the SAA.
I expect, in 2 more weeks, everything except the ISIS area are in SAA hands, and the southern front is finish. Then 2-4 more weeks to clean the ISIS area.
