[Photos] Homs: Despite arrival of Russian forces, convoy with displaced people from Quneitra is still blocked (6 hours now). Area NE. of Quseir (S. Homs) belongs to Hezbollah & allied pro-Iran militias (bombed several times by Israel past months). 3,391 ppl inside incl. 1,129 children.
Huge developments in western Daraa today.
It seems as if all resistance is gone. HTS, which has withdrawn to Quinetra, and IS seem to be the only two groups that will put up serious opposition. There never even seemed to be a serious battle in this offensive. Even Busra al-Harir had very mild fighting compared to what used to be commonplace. The rebels put up more resistance probably in the battle of Shiekh Miskin than this whole offensive.
Their odds back then were far better, they only had to deal with parts of the rather mediocre 5th and 7th division in the fight for Sheikh Miskin and still lost. Now they face pretty much every single offensive unit the SAA can muster and full Russian air support.
They can put up resistance, but there is simply no way they come out victorious out of this one.
