Syrian War Daily – 23rd of October 2018
Syrian Red Crescent delivered 2 humanitarian aid shipments to Douma in Eastern Ghouta, on 21, 22 Oct. 8 trucks carried 3000 food parcels,1008 blankets, 200 mattresses (ICRC), 1925 food parcels & 50 boxes of nutritional supplements (World Food Programme), 500 plastic sheets (UN Refugee Agency).
Golan is Syria though.
It was shot down above the Sea of Galilee, which is internationally recognized Israeli territory.
It's not. Just like Raqqa is not ISIS territory anymore.
Lol interesting that you would compare Israels land grab of Golan to ISIS land grab of Raqqa.
Both are considered totally illegitimate in the eyes of international law and no nation accepted their sovereignty over those territories.
Maybe Syria shouldn't have used the golan to snipe Israel civilians, if your neighbor was using a hill to throw rocks at you, would you give it back to him?

No, I compare Syrian hold of the Golan to ISIS hold of Raqqa. Both used the territory to terrorize civilians and both no longer hold it (thankfully).
Israeli "land grab" was defending against a Syrian invasion of Israel in 1967.

Both Syria and Israel did not follow the UN resolutions pertaining the Golan, the resolution called for Israeli pull out, and a peaceful solution and recognition of both parties right to exist something that Syria refuses to this day.
Don't want to lose land? Don't invade neighbors repeatedly.
De facto the Golan is in Israel, just like Crimea is Russian, Tibet is Chinese, Nagorno-Karabakh is Armenian.
