Syrian TV just announced it.
Man this sub eats up pro-gov propaganda...
Very true, especially with missile interception claims, but I think in this case people realize the claimed hit on the plane is fake news.
Has there actually been a case where the Israelis fired from Jordanian airspace at Syria? I know the claim comes up every now and then, but has always turned out to be BS if I remember correctly.
Were a few rumours they used the airspace before to get into Syrian territory and bomb it. Otherwise, not really. Mostly hidden behind Golan and Lebanese mountains.
I don't think so. Could be a missile attack though, no?
A year back or so yeah but not sure how confirmed it was
So the direction would have you believe IAF flew through Jordanian airspace and then crossed into southeastern Syria utilizing the airspace above the occupied territory of al-Tanf area before launching air-to-surface missiles.
S200? I thought the Syrians had S300s?
they will soon. the system is already in Tartus awaiting delivery should Israel continue its unwarranted aggression. which they just have.
Will they be handed over to the Syrian military or are they just an additional protection for bases with Russian personnel?
its for the SAA, Russia originally was going to deliver them years ago but put it on hold due to Israels concern. it looks like Russia has made it clear if they keep bombing Syrian army positions the system will be delivered. the last major strike by Israel saw the system get moved to Tartus. it can be deployed in less than 24hrs if need be. personally i think Israel wont hold back and Russia will be forced to deliver since Israel keeps trying to take out Syrian air defense systems.
